Salt Therapy

"Salt is equally essential for our body as is water"
    • Salt Therapy (Halotherapy)

The humidity and temperature in the room are at the most ideal levels to keep you breathing easy. Your nasal passages will be opened, naturally, without the use of nasal sprays or decongestants. Mucous clears out and sinus pressure is relieved. Itchy throat and puffy eyes caused by your allergies will be soothed by salt therapy

How does it work? As the salt is inhaled, it travels through the sinuses and respiratory tract absorbing moisture, cleansing, clearing mucus and killing bacteria. Salt is known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties as well as helping to loosen mucus build up and phlegm.

All About Salt Therapy

About Salt Therapy

Salt therapy is an effective and scientifically-proved treatment for skin and respiratory conditions. Now and for more than 30 years dry salt aerosol has been administered in uniquely-designed halochambers. These therapeutical salt rooms have been equipped to aide lower and upper respiratory conditions such as allergy, cold and flu, asthma, sinus infection, bronchitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, emphysema and hay fever.

Also the anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties of the dry natural unprocessed salt aerosol has also proved to be very effective for the infections of ears and the conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema.

Salt Therapy is 100% drug free

Researchers and scientists have developed Halotherapy as a medium where they can concentrate the positive effects provided by salt naturally.

The concept of Halotherapy was initially introduced in 1843 by Polish Physician Felix Bocakowski after he observed the remarkable low incidences of respiratory conditions in the workers at salt mines who were exposed to saturated air with saline dust on a regular basis. This was when the concept of salt cave therapy better known as Speleotherapy came into existence.

Recently, a research published by the England Journal of Medicine had concluded that inhalation of salt was an effective respiratory therapy. The Rock Spa employs the state of art technology in the halo generators for crushing the pharmaceutical graded salt grains in minute particles within the size of one to ten micrometers. Particles larger than five micrometers reach in the throat and the nasal area whereas the smaller of the particles will be penetrating deep inside the lungs.

Rooms are fully furnished with the fresh air filters which captures and remove up to 99.97 % of all the airborne particles which may cause negative effects on your health.
